Congress: Remember Family Caregivers!

Throughout Indiana, family caregivers support their parents, spouses, and other loved ones, enabling them to live independently at home, where they want to be. These Hoosiers take on the responsibility of caring for their families, devoting an average of 20 hours per week and spending approximately $7,200 a year.

That’s why we’re urging Congress to provide real tax relief and put money back into family caregivers’ pockets through the Credit for Caring tax credit. Caregivers have experienced higher prices on everything while struggling to provide care to their loved ones.
