Scammers are winning. Indiana can stop them.

Criminals have found a new way to steal millions of dollars from older Americans. This legislative session, elected officials in Indiana can take action to stop them.
Cryptocurrency ATMs, also known as “crypto kiosks,” are commonly found in convenience stores, gas stations, and other retail locations, enabling users to conduct legitimate transactions. However, their lack of regulation compared to traditional financial institutions has made them a target for criminals, resulting in significant financial fraud. As a result, hundreds of millions of dollars are stolen from Americans each year through fraudulent schemes involving these machines.
AARP Indiana is fighting to save older Hoosiers from losing their retirement savings to criminals. Recently, the City of Evansville passed an ordinance that delivers real protections for people using cryptocurrency ATMs. Hoosiers across the state deserve the same kinds of safeguards.
Tell state leaders that now is the time to establish safety measures and protect Hoosiers from losing their life savings.
