Mahalo to Governor Josh Green for signing House Bill 1642, an important measure that helps protect kūpuna and other consumers from cryptocurrency ATM scams.

This new law, now Act 224, protects consumers by banning cryptocurrency kiosk/ATMS that accept deposits. The cryptocurrency kiosks, which look like bank ATMS, were a favorite way for scammers to steal.
