Vote YES on Senate Bill 69

Lawmakers in Pierre are debating fair and straightforward election procedures that would increase the participation of voters 50+.

Senate Bill 69 would let voters update information like their address or party affiliation easily on a new, secure website managed by the Secretary of State.

We believe changes to the process should aim for simplicity, not complexity. We support this bill because it removes unnecessary barriers that prevent older adults and people with disabilities from participating in elections.

It is equally important to ensure that elections are free from fraud and abuse. Election officials should consult with cybersecurity experts to safeguard voter information databases--like the system SB 69 would create.

Tell lawmakers – Vote YES on SB 69!

Dear Representative,

I am your constituent, and I urge you to vote YES on Senate Bill 69 to make it easier for me to update my voter information.

Changes to the process should aim for simplicity, not complexity. I urge you to support this bill because it removes unnecessary barriers that prevent many older adults and people with disabilities from participating in elections.

It is also important that our elections are free from fraud and abuse. SB 69 would create a secure website managed by the Secretary of State, where I know my voter information will be safe and protected.

Again, I ask that you please vote YES on Senate Bill 69.

Sincerely, your constituent,
