Every day, family caregivers are the invisible, unpaid workforce across the country, balancing their careers while shouldering the extraordinary load of caring for the older parents, spouses, siblings, aunts, grandparents, and other loved ones so they can live independently in their own homes - where they want to be. But they should not have to shoulder this without the needed resources to help them save money and time.

Our elected officials can do more to support family caregivers who are juggling the responsibility to care for their loved ones alone. So, we’re asking people 50-plus — who are the deciders in elections — to remind candidates to support caregivers.
