The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) is currently considering a proposal from TECO that will raise electric rates by almost $467.7 million over the next 3 years! Electricity is essential for you —from turning on the lights and running the A/C to using devices like computers and medical equipment. Many households are already struggling to pay their homeowners insurance, property taxes and other necessities like food and medicine.

That’s why AARP is calling on you to help fight against TECO’s proposal to raise your electric bill. AARP Florida will oppose rate increases that benefit TECO’s bottom line on the backs of customers like you.
