Get amp'd UP to keep rates DOWN! Tampa Electric (TECO) Rate Increase

Florida residents are already struggling to keep up with the high cost of living. 

I urge the Commission to reject Tampa Electric (TECO) proposal to raise residential customers’ rates by 50.7% over the next 3 years and increase their guaranteed profit (return on equity) to 11.5%, well over the national average of 9.71%.

As the cost of living in Florida continues to rise, especially for property insurance and housing expenses, an unnecessary increase in electric utility rates will decrease our quality of life.

TECO should not be allowed to increase their profits on the backs of residential customers like me. 

Please reject TECO’s proposal to raise my utility rates.
