Governor: Save Lives - End the EISEP Waiting Lists!

The Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Program (EISEP), administered through the State Office for the Aging (SOFA), provides frail older adults with access to a coordinated package of in-home and other supportive services designed to support and supplement family caregivers. These services help keep people safe in their own homes, and can also be a lifeline for family caregivers struggling to balance helping mom or dad, maintaining a full-time job, raising kids of their own, and more.

Unfortunately, this program is woefully underfunded, leaving thousands of older New Yorkers on waiting lists for much-needed services.

Please take a moment to urge Governor Hochul to ensure these services are available to help keep people safe and support family caregivers.
