You may have heard the news that HB 205, DE EARNS, passed with huge bi-partisan support!

But long before the final vote there was a very important person who worked for more than two years to pass DE EARNS: State Treasurer Colleen Davis.

Treasurer Davis and her team crafted the bill and spent many months travelling up and down the state, meeting with business groups, small business owners, constituents, and legislators, explaining the benefits of DE EARNS and rallying support. The next step is Governor Carney's desk. He's been supportive of the bill, and we look forward to standing with him at the bill-signing in the coming weeks.

Without the sustained efforts of these two champions, the bill would not have passed. DE EARNS ensures future generations of Delawareans will have a more secure retirement, and small businesses and taxpayers will be better off, too!
