Regarding Aqua Illinois’ Proposal to Raise Water Rates

Illinois residents are already struggling to pay our utility bills along with other necessities like food, medicine, and housing.  

I urge the Commissioners from the Illinois Commerce Commission to reject Aqua Illinois' proposal to raise residential customers’ rates by $19.2 million and the fixed rate from $2.48 to $21.95 a month. This would result in my water bill increasing to as much as $102 more than I am currently paying.  

Aqua Illinois should not be allowed to benefit from the utility’s bottom line on the backs of residential customers like me.
