Saving For Retirement Is Now Easier With RISavers - Thanks To Your Elected Officials

Almost all Rhode Islanders have access to a retirement savings plan at work now that RISavers is here.

RISavers is a state-sponsored retirement savings program that offers an Auto-IRA (Individual Retirement Account) plan to employees of businesses who do not offer a retirement savings plan. This program is provided at no cost to the employer and is fully portable, meaning it follows you from job to job.

RISavers gives 172,000 Rhode Island workers a way to save for retirment. RISavers will allow more Rhode Islanders to save, improving the long-term financial outlook for themselves and their families. RISavers will also lead to millions of dollars in savings to the state due to fewer people having to depend on public assistance programs.

Thank you to all the Rhode Island lawmakers who worked to address the financial resiliency of all Rhode Islanders by empowering them to save for their future.
