Tell your legislator to help fix Oregon’s workplace age discrimination law!
We need to fix Oregon's Age Discrimination law to:
• Update and clarify Oregon’s law to restore older workers’ rights to be treated fairly based on their skills and experience, not their age.
• Define what “age” means in Oregon discrimination law, just like we did when we updated the law against discrimination based on sex to include pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions.
• Ensure older workers are given a fair chance in the beginning of the hiring process by prohibiting employers from requiring applicants to disclose age or graduation date prior to completing the first interview.
Tell Oregon's Legislators: Oregon workers are counting on you.
