For 90 years, Social Security has provided financial stability to generations of Americans — delivering earned payments on time, every time. Today, more than 146,521 people in North Dakota receive Social Security helping older Americans stay out of poverty and live with dignity after a lifetime of hard work.

AARP is urging elected leaders to protect and strengthen Social Security for current and future generations — because, after decades of working, Americans have earned it.

Send a message to Governor Armstrong urging him to sign a proclamation recognizing August 14, 2025, as the 90th Anniversary of Social Security or Social Security Day.
