Tell your state representative:

I’m counting on you to protect renters from no-cause evictions and extreme rent increases!

On Thursday, March 2nd, the House Committee on Human Services and Housing is holding a hearing on House Bill 2004. The bill amends current state law to strengthen tenant protections so that evictions can take place with only with “just cause.” The bill will also allow local governments to consider rent-stabilization policies to meet the needs of their communities.

Tell your representative to stand for safe and stable housing for all Oregonians. The most impactful letters are personal, so feel free to include why tenant protections are important to you.
