Eliminate the Vermont Tax on Social Security for Thousands

Support this effort by sending your senator an email to eliminate Social Security tax for thousands of Vermonters. Here's why:

-Seven out of ten Social Security beneficiaries in Vermont rely on that money for their primary source of income.

-Bill H.911, which has passed in the House, includes savings for thousands of Vermonters of up to $400 per year.

-Too many low and middle income retirees are paying taxes on their Social Security benefits because the Vermont exemption thresholds haven’t been raised in more than 30 years.
