Please vote YES! on SB 780, which improves access to telemedicine !

Improve options for healthcare in Pennsylvania- home of the third largest rural population and the fourth oldest population in the country.  Telemedicine— using digital information and communication technologies, like computers and mobile devices to manage your or a loved one’s health—would help Pennsylvania’s 1.65 million family caregivers through more connected care.

Providing telemedicine services is a common-sense way to connect patients in need of care and their family caregivers with qualified professionals and offer options to Pennsylvania residents in where and how they receive health care services.  As Pennsylvania’s population ages, the need for more medical professionals is growing – but it can be difficult and time-consuming to get the right care. Passage of SB 780 will increase access to a wide range of health care services through telemedicine for older adults and their caregivers, especially in rural and urban underserved areas where few physicians are available.

Senate Bill 780 is up for vote in the Pennsylvania Senate. Please contact your Senator TODAY, and ask him or her to vote yes on this important and cost-saving piece of legislation.

Please vote YES on Senate Bill 780 when it comes up for a vote.

All Pennsylvanians, especially those in rural areas need access to quality health care and passing this important legislation will help Pennsylvanians stay healthy.
