State House shuts down "junk" health insurance bill - for now

A bill that would have allowed skimpy health plans, often called “junk insurance,” to be marketed and sold in North Carolina, quickly moved through the North Carolina General Assembly this week.  House members voted down NC House Bill 933 in a 38-53 vote on June 14th.

Your voice matters!  Please express thanks to NC House members who voted against this bill and ask them to resist attempts to revive this bill.
