Thank you can go a long way

Central Maine Power's SmartMeter disaster resulted in more than 100,000 of it's customers being overcharged for electricity they never used. Rep. Seth Berry (D-Bowdoin, Bowdoingham) and Rep. Beth O'Conner (R-Berwick) worked together to find a solution that served Maine ratepayers and made sure the company worked to pay back every cent.

It's refreshing to recognize bi-partisan solutions that benefit Mainers. It shows what we can do when we work together to find answers with the goal of serving Mainers first and foremost.

That's why we're recognizing this bi-partisan effort. Nobody likes being charged more for something they never received. Holding our utility companies accountable is something we can all get behind, no matter the politics.

Join us in sending a quick "Thank you" note to Reps. O'Conner and Berry for their good work on an important issue.
