Tell Commissioner Causey to reject hike in property insurance

The North Carolina Rate Bureau (NCRB), an industry consortium, has requested a sharp rate increase in homeowners’ insurance rates effective Oct. 1, 2019. Charlotte and Raleigh areas could see a 20 percent increase, while much of eastern NC faces 25 to 30 percent more.

The industry’s request now rests with Commissioner Causey to sort out and decide.  According to the NCRB, this dramatic increase is NOT a result of last fall’s hurricanes and the winter storm

Speak up!  Sign the Petition against these rate hikes.  When it comes to keeping our rates fair and reasonable we can’t wait
