Help! The Idaho Senate will be voting in the next few days on Medicaid Expansion.

We have been engaged in a fight for the very lives of our fellow Idahoans for a long time. This fight to provide fundamental health care to those in the coverage gap escalated this week in the Idaho Legislature.

The Idaho House of Representatives passed a bill placing restrictions, including work requirements, on the voter passed initiative to expand Medicaid to the coverage gap.

The Idaho Senate will be voting on a preferred bill within days that would help individuals find employment instead of punishing those who cannot, as in the House passed version.

Take a few minutes now to contact your Senator and tell them to vote in favor of Senate Bill 1204 (voluntary work promotion) and against House Bill 277 (work requirements.)
