Why leave $1.6 billion in federal funding on the table? Tell your senator to include full Medicaid expansion in the 2019 - 2021 budget.

If full Medicaid expansion is not included in the budget, Wisconsin would lose out on about $1.6 billion in federal funding to expand Medicaid and the health care programs it supports. Wondering how we got that figure? Watch this video for a quick explanation

That's a lot of big numbers - here's how your county would be affected

Not only will the state lose money, but tens of thousands of hardworking Wisconsinites won't be able to get affordable health care. We would also lose money which supports health programs for all, not just Medicaid recipients.

The governor's proposed budget included full Medicaid expansion to cover over 80,000 additional Wisconsinites to improve the health of all residents by adding access to dental care, dementia care specialists, and other vital programs.

It only takes a minute. Email your senator and tell them to include full Medicaid expansion in the 2019 - 2021 state budget.

This is not welfare, it is wellness and well being for all.

Dear [Decision Maker],

I am urging you to support full Medicaid expansion in the budget.

With full Medicaid expansion, Wisconsin would benefit from about $1.6 billion in federal funding, which would help extend healthcare coverage to an additional 80,000+ Wisconsinites and improve the health of all state residents by adding access to dental care, dementia care specialists, and other vital healthcare programs

This is not welfare, this is wellness and well being for all.
