Tell your state representative:

There is nothing like an unexpected family emergency such as the fall of a parent or a sick child to throw our world into chaos. And it’s especially challenging when employees have no paid family or medical leave.

A bill in the Oregon Legislature would create a paid leave policy for Oregon families. Caring for a family member, or taking time off from work due to illness, should be benefits for all Oregon workers. Please write to your legislator today to ask them to support HB 2005 -3. It’s a sensible solution to keep Oregon healthy!

Dear [Decision Maker],

Strong communities depend on a healthy workforce. Oregonians deserve to have paid family and medical leave. Caring for a family member is important work and shouldn't mean losing wage or compromising economic security. Please vote yes on HB 2005-3

We can do better! Let's make sure all Oregon workers can care for family members and keep our communities strong.

Sincerely,
