Thank you, Governor Mills!

Gov. Janet Mills signed into law the first comprehensive package of prescription drug reform in the nation!

While Big Pharma rakes in millions more in profits, handing out handsome paydays to CEOs and shareholders, Maine passed historic legislation that will bring more transparency to drug prices, stronger accountability to drug manufacturers, and one of the first safe drug importation programs to bring more affordable drugs from Canada.

Together, through bi-partisanship and community building, Maine now leads the nation in prescription drug reform tackling Big Pharma's greed.

Four important bills that passed the Maine Senate with unanimous, bi-partisan support, were signed into law. Each bill will help lower the cost of prescription medications here in Maine, and finally address the greed of Big Pharma.

LD 1162 - Further Expand Drug Price Transparency
LD 1272 - Increase Access to Low-cost Prescription Drugs
LD 1499 - Establish the Maine Prescription Drug Affordability Board
LD 1504 - Protect Consumers from Unfair Practices Related to Pharmacy Benefits Management

Send Gov. Mills a quick thank you note today!
