Thank You Senator Arthur!

Senator Lauren Arthur

While other senators were trying to use older and disabled Missourians as pawns in a political fight, Senator Lauren Arthur (D-Kansas City) stood up for people who receive the Circuit Breaker Tax Credit.

The Circuit Breaker Tax Credit has been in effect since the 1970s and every year, helps thousands of older Missourians and disabled veterans stay in their homes.

Senators Onder and Eigel offered amendments to eliminate the tax credit for the lowest income taxpayers, but Senator Arthur and a bipartisan group of her colleagues stood up and protected the Circuit Breaker.

Thank Senator Arthur for standing up to keep older Missourians and disabled veterans in their homes.
