By participating in the AARP Alert program, you may receive welcome messages or account updates. Message frequency varies by account. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by texting STOP to 22777, or replying "Stop" to our message. By sending STOP to 22777 or replying "Stop" to our message, you agree to one additional confirmation message stating that you've opted out and will no longer receive messages from AARP.

To get help, text HELP to 22777 or reply "Help" to our message. Get additional support or help by calling 1-88-OUR-AARP (1-888-687-2277).

You must be the mobile phone account holder or have permission from the account holder to use this service. You must be 18 years or older or have permission from a parent/guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

By participating in this program you specifically authorize AARP to send communications using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice system, and AARP may obtain your information, including mobile phone number, your carrier's name, and the date, time and content of your messages, as well as other information that you provide as part of this messaging program. We may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from us or for any use consistent with AARP's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

If you link to a third party website from our message your activity on that site will be subject to the third party's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

You may be responsible for your wireless carrier's standard messaging and data rates for each message you send to us and for each message we send to you.

You are not required to sign the agreement as a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.

The person consenting to receive telemarketing communications also provides authorization for the specific telephone number that may be contacted via this program. Carriers are not responsible for any delayed or undelivered messages.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may terminate our messaging program at any time, with or without advance notice.
