Say Thank You for Reducing Utah’s Tax on Social Security Benefits
Utah legislators and Governor Cox have now enacted a bill that will eliminate the state tax on Social Security benefits for individuals with incomes up to $45,000 and couples with incomes up to $75,000. The benefit also phases out for those whose incomes are above those amounts so many more will receive a partial credit to reduce their state tax.
Join us in thanking Governor Cox and your state senator and representative for making this important change. Your Social Security benefits are a critical component of your financial security in retirement and AARP Utah wants you to join us in thanking them for helping more Utahns keep your hard-earned benefits!
